Ernesto
Manzini was born in 1911 in
a small village in the Val d’Aosta. During the 2nd
World War he was
in Africa on behalf of the Italian counterespionage and spent the whole
period
connected with the conflict. He was imprisoned, but above all he began
to put
together a network which helped him to found in Turin in the
50’s the Ernesto
Manzini Investigazioni Agency. In a short time with dedication and
ability he
managed to give the business solid grounds in the branch of
investigation not
only nationally, but also internationally.
He
came
into contact with illustrious people such as King Juan Carlos of Spain
and
Generalissimo Franco.
In
the 70’s
he was nominated president of the W.A.D., the most important world
association
of detectives. He held this role in the years 1971 and 1972.
Thanks
to
his relationship with his dear friend David Almog he was connected with
the
Israelian Secret Service and he was able to examine more thoroughly
techniques
and methods on which to base the running and organization of his
security
services.
He
died
recently and left all his experiences to his children and to his
grandson.
Marco, his favourite grandson, brought up soaked in the quintessence of
the investigations, is now taking over the agency in its third
generation.
So
with the
new millenium the “Marco Manzini Investigation
Agency” was born, connected to
the past but aiming towards the future.
